No legal entity has been registered yet. This product is operated by an individual who has not yet established a legal entity, registered address, or jurisdiction. The operator will supply this information before this notice can bind anyone.

What data is processed

When you submit a URL to Favidetect, the following happens:

Your URL is sent to our server (a Cloudflare Worker) over HTTPS.
The Worker fetches the HTML of the submitted URL and extracts icon declarations from the page's <head>.
The Worker fetches each declared icon URL to determine its status, format, and size.
The results are returned to your browser as JSON. No results are stored server-side.

Data retention

Favidetect does not store any data. No accounts exist. No check history is saved. Submitted URLs, page content, and icon fetch results are processed in memory during the request and discarded immediately after the response is sent. There is no database, no log of past checks, and no persistent storage of any kind.

Third-party access

The Worker fetches content from the URL you submit and from the icon URLs declared on that page. Those requests are made directly from Cloudflare's edge network. The operators of those URLs will see a request from a Cloudflare IP with the User-Agent Favidetect/1.0.

Cookies

Favidetect does not set any cookies. There are no analytics scripts, no tracking pixels, and no third-party embeds.
