No legal entity has been registered yet. The operator of this product has not established a legal entity, registered address, or jurisdiction. The operator must supply the entity name, address, and governing law before these terms bind anyone. Until then, this page serves as an intention of how the product is offered, not as a binding contract.

What this product does

Favidetect is a diagnostic tool. Given a URL, it fetches the page, parses all icon declarations from the HTML <head>, requests each declared icon, and reports the HTTP status, format, and pixel dimensions of each response.

What this product does NOT do

It does not store or log any data. No accounts, no check history, no database.
It does not generate, design, or host icon files.
It does not monitor sites over time. Each check is a single point-in-time snapshot.
It does not send email or push notifications.
It does not currently collect payment. See the Billing section for when and how payment will be processed once a payment processor is connected.

Acceptable use

You may use Favidetect to check any public URL that you have the right to access. You may not:

Send URLs containing embedded credentials (user:pass@).
Use the tool in a way that exceeds a reasonable request rate (the tool enforces rate validation internally).
Misrepresent the diagnostic results as your own.

Billing

Favidetect offers a Free tier at no cost. No payment information is required to use the Free tier, and no billing is associated with it.

A Pro subscription is planned but not yet available. When Pro launches, it will be billed as a monthly subscription at the price displayed on the Pricing page. Payment will be processed at the start of each billing period.

Failed payments. If a Pro subscription payment fails, the card will be retried automatically every 72 hours for up to 9 days (3 retries). If all retries fail, Pro access will be suspended until a successful payment clears. No data or account history is stored, so there is no data loss on suspension.

Refunds. Because the service provides immediate diagnostic results and no stored data or accounts, all purchases are final. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact the operator.

Current status. No payment processor is connected yet. The billing provisions in this section take effect on the date a payment processor is connected and Pro subscriptions become available. Until then, no payment is collected.

Disclaimer

Favidetect provides diagnostic information "as is" without any warranty of accuracy. Results are point-in-time snapshots and may differ from what a browser or device actually renders due to caching, network conditions, or client-specific behaviour. The operator is not liable for any damages arising from the use of this tool.

Intellectual property

The Favidetect name, logo, and tool output format are the intellectual property of the operator. The results produced by this tool — lists of URLs and their HTTP/fetch status — are factual observations not subject to copyright. The tool's source code is not publicly distributed.

Changes

These terms may be updated at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

To be determined. The operator will specify the governing law and jurisdiction when a legal entity is registered. Until then, no governing law is asserted.
